HOW TO GET TO HIPPY JOHN'S ON THE AKWE RIVER
1. Book your adventure with H.I.C. Tours: Click here to contact us or make reservations

2. Book a flight to Yakutat, Alaska (airport code: YAK) with Alaska Airlines at www.alaskaair.com or call 1-800-ALASKAAIR (1-800-252-7522). In the summer months, there are generally two Alaska Airline flights into and out of Yakutat each day.


3. Purchase your fishing license online at Alaska Department of Fish and Game (www.adfg.state.ak.us) and bring it with you.

4. H.I.C. Tours will coordinate your flight from Yakutat to Akwe River with Alsek Air and arrange for a shuttle van to pick you up at the Yakutat Airport.


5. Your guides will meet you at the beach airstrip near the Akwe River.


6. Jump in an Argo with your guides for a quick drive to the Akwe River.


7. Board a jet boat...


8. Welcome to the H.I.C. Tours cabins on the Akwe. Time to fish!
