New born wildlife, migrating birds,
and beautiful sunsets are a common sight in the SPRING as the vegetation on the Akwe
come to life.
With SUMMER comes Alaska's extended daylight hours allowing you
explore all the wonders of the Akwe.
Wildlife, flora and fauna in abundance awaits the adventurous hiker.
FALL tends to
be best for the beach-combers while the birds are retreating south taking the
last traces of summer with them, leaving only seclusion.
WINTER is a "wonderland" in this area, skiing and cross country snowshoeing
in December through February is a great way to see the wildlife in full winter
coats, or just get out away from it all.
