H.I.C. Tours and proprietor “Hippy John” Matsko have over 15 years experience outfitting and guiding on the Akwe River. H.I.C. Tours is permitted by the National Forest Service, Yakutat Ranger District to operate on the Akwe River in the Tongass National Forest. King Salmon and Silvers (Coho) are the primary runs. Reservations are required and space is limited – so contact us at least six months in advance for a reservation.
